In a sustainable society, the economy needs to be circular. This means we need to create loops that make use of all existing materials and ensure that as little as possible – ideally nothing – ends up as waste or in a landfill.
Eco3 want to achieve a change in the market by creating sustainable concepts for reuse within primarily coffee solutions for companies, the public sector and HoReCa.
reuse
Coffee machines are part of most workplaces in Sweden, where we expect access to a cup of coffee. Many workplaces want to contribute to a better environment. We strongly believe that more and more people will appreciate when a company chooses a reused machine. It shows that they make conscious choices with a product that is used frequently every day, resulting in a better coffee break.
reduce
To reduce the environmental impact of new production and to enable customers to make a conscious choice, it is important to have calculations that support the circular offering. For each machine we refurbish, there is traceability of the CO₂ impact from the materials compared to a newly manufactured machine.
recycle
From experience, we know that not all parts and components of a machine are ready for disposal at the same time. This provides a great opportunity to extract and refurbish spare parts that deserve to operate for another cycle, reducing both environmental impact and operating costs.
